It is really worth it, partly because it is located in a beautiful environment and mainly because the foundations of the castle were examined by archaeologists in 2009 and 2010 and strengthened, which significantly improved the accessibility of the entire castle ruins. It was rebuilt in Reinissance style in the 16th century. During the Thirty Years' War it was ravaged by the Saxon army. A torso of a residential tower, which was surrounded by numerous buildings and walls, has been preserved on a high monadnock to this day.
