Name origin: Struzna renaissance castle dates back to 1598, in the 17th and 18th century it expanded into a barocco chateau and then it burned down only to be rebuilt in late 19th century. As many other castles in the Czech republic, after 1990 the castle was not looked after by its private owner and it started to dilapidated... Currently, it is being restored to its previous glory by a couple who have big hopes to restore it.
